The Smutty Book Club is a community of romance readers who gather to read, talk, laugh, debate, and occasionally lose our collective minds over fictional people.

Hosted by The Smut Oracle, our monthly in-person meetings bring together readers with different tastes, different spice tolerances, and very strong opinions. The goal is not to agree on every book. In fact, some of our best conversations happen when we absolutely do not.

Each month features a theme and multiple book selections, giving readers options based on their interests and preferred spice level. Read one. Read them all. Show up having finished twelve pages because life happened. You are still welcome.

What to Expect

This is thoughtful book discussion without the homework energy.

We talk about the writing, the characters, the tropes, the relationships, the choices that worked, and the ones that made us want to throw the book across the room. There will be real analysis. There will also be inappropriate commentary, enthusiastic disagreement, and someone inevitably asking, "Okay, but would you?"

No literary degree required. No shame about what you read. No expectation that everyone loves the same things.

Just good books, good conversation, and a room full of people who get it.
